Federalist Chardonnay, Santa Barbara County, 2014

The Dederalist Chardonnay pays homage to the contributions our Federalist founding fathers made to the US Constitution. Created in 1787, The Constitution is still considered the supreme law of the United States. The Federalist visionary, Alexander Hamilton, contributed to the Constitution's creation at the Philadelphia Convention and co-authored The Federalist Papers, which helped it gain public support. This Chardonnay features aromas of lemon zest, pineapple and toasted hazelnut. Barrel fermented in 20% new French oak and aged in barrel 7 months, it is full-bodied with a long finish.
