  • Dry Cleaning for the Coast (1/15/08)
Harvest helps your clothes make the trip so you don't have to!

Harvest Market offers Laundry and Dry cleaning service through Norge Cleaners of Ukiah. So on the Coast, you can drop off your clothes to be laundered or Dry Cleaned, by Tuesday evening and we’ll send them over to Norge. Then you can pick your cleaning the next Wednesday. This fine laundry and dry cleaning service by Norge also includes blinds, blankets, area rugs, bed spreads and clothing… Plus bulk laundry: wash, dry and fold. They can even send out your leather items. Bring your Laundry and Dry Cleaning to Harvest at Mendosa’s in Mendocino Village or to Harvest Market in the Boatyard Center.
Of course, you don’t send all of your clothes and linens to be cleaned so Harvest carries all the detergents and stain removers you need… yes, including, detergents for High Efficiency machines.
For doing your own laundry, or if you need the special cleaning skills of Norge Cleaners, we’re here for you at

  • Confidence and Security (1/15/08)
We're here for you - before, during and after the storms!

Confidence and Security – Hi this is Tim Bosma from Harvest Market, and we want you to have confidence that Harvest Market will always be here for you – no matter what the storm.  Both Harvest locations have generators that keep the lights on – and that means you can have confidence that we will be here for you.  Our generators mean that nothing we sell has been compromised by lack of refrigeration and that means we keep the cold things cold – so you can feel secure that the products you buy from Harvest Market are safe.  And with 25 years on the Mendocino Coast – we know that the storms will come and we're prepared with the things you will need, both in the Boatyard Shopping Center in Fort Bragg, and Harvest at Mendosa's in Mendocino.  Confidence and security –things that you can count on with Harvest Market – the best… naturally!

  • Stop the Plastic! (1/8/08)
    Incentives for reusable bags

Shopping bags are something to think about - Hi this is Tim Bosma from Harvest Market, and we want to give you an incentive to think about your shopping bags.  We want to stop using plastic bags that will outlive all of us, and stop using paper bags because our trees have more important things to do. So, Harvest Market will give you a 9 cent credit for every bag used, every time you bring your own bags.  And Harvest Market knows that one size rarely fits all, especially in our unique environment, so we have several different kinds of re-usable bags to help you make the transition from disposable to re-usable as easy as possible.  From as little as eighty nine cents per bag you can help change the environment, by using re-usable shopping bags and Harvest will credit you 9 cents for every bag used, every time you bring your own bags.  So from under the solar panels in the Boatyard Center in Fort Bragg, and Harvest at Mendosa's in Mendocino: Think re-usable, think green!  Think Harvest Market – the best… naturally!

  • Greener New Year (1/1/08)
Ecologically as "green" as we can be!

What's your New Years' resolution?  Hi, this is Tim Bosma.  Harvest Market is resolved to be as ecologically green as we can be!  You know that we've added solar panels to our store in the Boatyard shopping center, and that we use plates and utensils that are compostable - Spudware utensils and Stalkmarket sugarcane plates.  But did you know that by having so many locals in Mendocino Village shop at Harvest at Mendosa's we're helping to save tons of greenhouse gases from those who would drive back and forth to the "big city."  Being green is a conscious decision, from choosing re-usable shopping bags to simply choosing to shop locally - but we're helping to make some of your unconscious decisions green as well.  So no matter which Harvest Market you choose to shop, you're shopping green...  with Harvest Market, the Best - Naturally!
